She Has No Time
So I went to a Keane concert in Burlington VT last night.....BESTCONCERTOFMYLIFE! I can't believe Tom Chaplain's voice! He has the vocal chords of an angel... I have never heard such talent as his live in concert. Needless to say, I was completely blown away by the concert, the whole show was superb.
Well, other than that I don't feel very talkative tonight. Lot's of things to do lately and I'm just trying to stay sane. Or at least moderately so.
Anyways,

Hasta luego

Come What May

Come What May
Well, I'm not so sure that I have anything to say at the moment. Lots of school, tough online AP class, a job, homework, an internship, volunteer work, a capstone project, and Christmas shopping have left me wiped. So now I am going to retire to the couch next to the pretty Christmas tree, have a cup-a-tea and read a good book...

7/50 Lost In Austen

7/50 Lost In Austen
Well Shii, this is for you... You said that I needed to post a set and I found this one hiding away in the archives :)
I absolutely adore this movie, I love the twists and turns it takes from Pride and Prejudice. I won't give away any spoilers, but it turns out that there were ven a few things that Jane Austen herself didn't know about her characters!
I love the actors they chose and the storyline, although pretty long, keeps you entertained the whole time, especially when comapring it with the real thing.
I am so stressed right now with college apps, work, the musical, SAT, an intership, my volunteer work, and my AP Spanish online class. I always have something to do, most of the time more than one thing. I have become an extreme time budgeter. Wish me luck!
I just feel like curling up with a good booka d having a cup of tea or cocoa. I need a Darcy to come sweep me away to Pemberley where all of my troubles do not exist!
Anyways, PWEEZ watch this movie if you love Austen or period pieces. It is fabulous and very funny.

Hewo!
Hayao Miyazaki is a god to me and I thinka ll of his movies and Studio Ghibli need to be praised until the end of time. I could literally watch those movies over and over again for the rest of my life and never get tired of them.
I actually finished this set quite a while ago, but I forgot about it and it's been cooling it's heels in my drafts, so I thought it was about time that it came out for some air and a spot of sunlight :)
My senior year starts in less then a week and I am getting excited but also anti-excited. Homework and college apps are going to kill me, but I'm going to have a lot of fun with my friends while that happens!
It's time for me to go to bed, but take my recommendation and watch all of the Miyazaki films, you will not regret it!

Hello peoples of Polyvore! It iz I, Yaya! I know that it has been quite a while, but then what else is new? Maybe I should stop commenting on how long it takes me to post because i end up saying it every time!

Anyways, SUMMER IZ HERE! I am so relieved that i am done with finals and just the rigmarole that is junior year... On to senior!! But to celebrate another year of accomplishing hard work, i made a pretty set! I fell in love with this man's face and had to do something with it...

I just got a Job at Carter's and so far I have worked about 14 hours. I really like it, my only problem is that the entire time I am there
i am wishing that I knew little children so I could try all of the cute clothes on them. LITTLE BABY SHOES ARE THE CUTEST THING EVER CREATED! I'm just saying...

Well, salud! Here's to wonderful fun filled summers for all of you. I hope you sleep well and eat lots of unhealthy food!

Let Me Be Your Wings

Let Me Be Your Wings
Let me be your OOOOOOONLY LOOOOOOOVE! Everything your dreaming of will SOOOOOOOON BE OURS! I just watched that scene in Thumbelina and I re-re-re-re-re-re-re fell in love with Cornelius. I didn't think it was possible to fall in love at first sight soooo many times...

Anyways, this is probably the fastest I have ever gotten two consecutive sets out! I'm pretty darn proud of myself!

I was just playing around and noticed that my icon (though it is extremely lovely and pretty and I love it and it was made by one of my bestest friends Shii) has been the same for a long time and I needed a change. Then I thought, 'Yaya, don't-cha think it's your turn to make your OWN icon for once...' and TA-DA! Here is what came from that train of thought!

This message is going to be shorter than normal because I have just given the Polyverse an update....

But one more thing, I AM GOING TO SEE PRINCESS BRIDE IN THEATRE TOMORROW! Yes I can't wait! After Chamber Choir I am going to RUUUN to the theatre of time to catch the show:)

Happiest of Wednesdays everyone!

A Story About a Girl

A Story About a Girl
HEWO! I haz finished another one two months later! Yay for procrastination! No really I did finished this like a month ago, but it didn't... feel... finished to me yet. It only took another month of squinting thoughtfully at it for me to decide that I was actually done. The quotes on the back and the title are inspired by the song About A Girl by the Summer Set. They are so good, I strongly recommend. Their new"est" album is especially wonderful.

OOH! Mindset by Every Avenue just came on shuffle! I had totally forgotten about this song! It is very catchy, happy, and... bouncy. That's my official description.

I AM VERY EXCITED! You want to know why!?! beCUZ, I leave in 10 days for NYC! I'm going with chorus at my school and we're seeing two shows and an Opera. La Triviatta. The shows are Spiderman and How To Succeed In Buisness. NICK JONAS HERE I COME! But yes, I'm going with some of my bestest friends and we are going to have the time of our lives! The only thing that could possibly make it better would be if Danisnotonfire, Amazingphil, and Charlieissocoollike met us there and hung out for a couple days.... O_O That would make my life!

As to the movie list that I had made last set, so far I have seen:
THE HUNGER GAMES
The Vow
THE LAND OF ARRIETY

so many more to go! But all three were wonderful! The Hunger Games was really well done, i was very happy with how they got it from the book to the screen. Well except for the way they were shooting it at times with the shaky camera. I COULDN'T FOCUS ON A SINGLE DARN THING!! That's my only complaint though so all's well. And Arriety was adorable! The music was fantastic and the art was gorgeous. 13 thumbs up! Another Ghibli home run:) The only thing about the Vow was that I felt like the end was kind of abrupt and anticlimatic. But that was how the true story ended so I can't really complain. I love Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum so the two of them together were a dream.

Well I ave to go do some more homework... *intense scrunchy anger face*

The Iron Knight

The Iron Knight
I have been sitting here at the computer for the past 2 hours doing.....THIS!!! I present one of the most fantastic books series off all time!!!!! It starts with The Iron King and it's by Julie Kagawa. SHE IS A FANTASY MASTER! These books are giving me inspiration for a story that i'm writing myself, so I love to just go back and reread them:) :0 :)

I also got a boatload of homework done this evening, though there is a giant English project pressing down on my shoulders with intense effort. Anyone know a good chiropractor?

I want to study English in college, so, SILLY ME, i am taking two english classes right now! AP Lang and Comp and Later British Literature. Now I love both classes, my AP teacher is awesome and funny, my Late Brit Lit teacher is also funny and we get to read fantastic books. (right now we are finishing up Frankenstein), but the work load is killing me. I just finished a group essay, a 40 minutes prompt, a 30 minutes free write, 12 chapters of Frankenstein (complete with notes), and now I have to make a powerpoint on a famous speech, create a diorama of Frankenstein, and finish the book. AND THAT'S JUST MY ENGLISH HOMEWORK!!!!!!

Now, why I signed up for three english classes next year, i have no idea. I think I have a death wish.

But now that I'm done with this, i am going to go get into pj's and curl up with One For The Money by Janet Evanovitch. (I'm re-reading the entire series to commemorate the new movie:)

Last but not least, here is a list of movies that are coming to theatre that I must and will see:
Titanic 3D
The Vow
THE HUNGER GAMES
THE LAND OF ARRIETY
The Spiderman Remake
Brave
Chronicle
Star Wars 3D
and something else that I can't remember right now...

Nighty Night!
